Google Assistant in India now supports the taxi booking services from Uber and OLA cab. A user can use the voice commands such as the “Hey Google, book a ride to the Texas” or use “Hey Google, get me a taxi to Madurai International Airport”. On a voice command a user can see the taxi services option from the Uber, OLA and other radio services along the data such as the estimated pricing, wait time and time to reach from each service.

If a user is willing to book a taxi from a particular service, then a user just have to include the name of the brand along with the voice command. Once a user decided to book a taxi service that you want to hire and then tap on the option of your own choice, which will open the app of the corresponding brand to complete your taxi booking.


Right now, this feature will be available for only English and the countries where one of the service partners will operate. Google plans this feature to expand to more languages in the coming months.
